It doesn't matter what we're doing, Liam wants to help. He is really into cooking, I think it's because he usually gets some sort of dough. I was making biscuits and he realized that I was rolling the dough out and then taking it away. He was so mad at me for stealing his food, he tried to take away the rolling pin and when that didn't work he put his hands out and kept pushing it away. He's getting better about "sharing" "his" dough and is starting to help roll it out, but he's always putting pieces into his mouth.
When Tom is out working in the yard he's the best helper. He wants to help push the lawn mower, sweep the porch, rake leaves, put things in the dumpster etc. If the ladder is out he wants Tom down so he can climb up. We get so much done with his help!
I know it is wishful thinking, but I hope he always wants to help, especially when he's big enough to really work.

Your little helper is so darn cute! I can't wait until he can come help me with something. I'm afraid he got the taste for dough from Grandma--or from Mom and Mom got it from Grandma. See you soon!
He is getting so big! What a cute boy. I love it and hate it when the kids try to help me. I love the thought but I am getting really sick of tripping over the chairs they push into the kitchen!
When Jacob was that age he would always help me by getting a diaper or wipe for Ginny.
Wow, he is so big. It's nice to have helpers especially when you're prego. Cara is our helper and as much as she can drive me crazy about it, it really does add up over time. We'll see you guys soon!
Lindsey,
He is growing up so much. I keep checking your blog to see if you had your baby. I am so excited for you and 2 kids isn't as bad as I thought it would be. I hope the delivery goes smooth and you have a much easier time than I did. Good luck!
