The Last Hurrah!

This weekend Kumar and Stacy invited us to come to Sanibel Isand with them. We had a blast. We ate out, hung out on the beach, went swimming, took naps, went to see fireworks, saw movies and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

We thought this was hilarious. The last time in Snowed in South Florida was in the 1960's.

Stacy and Tom digging for sand crabs. We learned that if you dig a hole by the edge of the water you can see baby clams, and crabs... the beach moves.

Tomi this is for you...I didn't follow your instructions. We are using the blanket you made us from our wedding shower, we are on the grass on the golf course. There is a fresh water lake behind us and in that lake there was an...

Alligator!! The first one we've seen in the wild. It just stayed in the lake while we enjoyed live music, food, and fireworks. You can't really tell from the picture, but it was about 7 feet long, not very big.

Oh my gosh, an alligator, crazy! Now you can say you've had the full Florida experience. I hope everything goes well with the rest of your pregnancy. Can't wait to hear details. You look great!

Hey--are those my slippers in that first picture?!? Looks like you had fun! I miss the ocean! (Even though we hardly ever went to the beach, it was nice to look out the window and know it was there if we wanted!)

Not very big!! You're killin' me! I would have been running.
By the way, we LOVED meeting Stacy and Kumar. They are the nicest people.

Look how good you look and you're almost done! I was just in florida and never saw an aligator. I wanted to but it never happened.

You look so darn cute! And I just love Stacy and Kumar. I realized I haven't looked up your blog for a long time and I got a little worried that you already had the baby and someone forgot to call me! I think it's great that you wrote down the funny things that people say to you when you're pregnant cause believe it or not, you forget, or at least I did. But I do remember Andy acting like I bumped him up off the couch when I sat on the other end. He says he was copying a show, but it wasn't funny. I tell ya - some people!
