The other night Lindsey and I and some friends took a walk down to a street called miracle mile. It is a trendy little part of town with a ton of restaurants, bridal stores and a Cold Stone creamy right next door to an expensive dog clothing shop. We usually walk down for some ice cream or a Jamba Juice. As we got close we ran into a jazz and art festival called 'carnival on the mile.' It was free and they had nearly 80 artists there and three different stages with jazz concerts all day. You could definitely tell that the "Revolution" which Castro lead in Cuba has inspired several artists down here. Anyway, every year Coral Gables puts on several free events for the community and they are very family oriented. They have Santa's Village every Christmas with free face painting and a play ground from north pole for all the kids. Although we have our complaints about Miami the city of Coral Gables been one of the bright spots for us.

What a cute picture of the two of you. Sounds like you had fun. I love little towns like that. I think it would be fun to get a little taste of the Cuban culture.
Hi Lindsey,
Wow it's kind of sad that this is the only way I could figure out how to get in touch with you. We are just beginning to embark on the blogging world. I would love to chat with you. My email is ewebb311@yahoo.com. Email me so we can chat soon:)
PS. Hi Tom
Hi. I want to see a picture of Lindsey's tummy, if she's willing! :)
