I'm not really sure where to start. I got behind and now I'm afraid this is going to be blog overload. We've had a great time the last 5 weeks. We've been to birthday parties, caves, parks, Albuquerque, caves and just at home. I'm completely exhausted but have been having a blast with my boys.
Liam's friend Lily had her second birthday. Her mom sure knew how to throw a party for toddlers. They had pizza and fruit and a slip 'n' slide. It was a hit. I stole this picture off of their blog (Thanks Sharon!)
It started to cool off a while ago so we went to the park and got these gems. It promptly warmed back up so we haven't been back for a while. As we all know temperature control gets tricky with small kids.
We went back to Carlsbad Caverns with our friends Rob and Sharon. We were brave and took the two year olds. It can get a little long for them and once you've decided you are going in you can't just decide that the kids aren't up for it halfway through, you are stuck going all the way through the caves. They both did great and it was fun to get out of the house. I bought Liam his monkey leash after the first time we went and it made the experience so much better! Every time I tell Liam that we are going to the caves he gets really excited and says, "Caves! Fun!"
Tom's cousin is serving in the Lubbock Texas mission which happens to include Carlsbad. He's not in Carlsbad, but he is in our stake so we got to see him at stake conference. In fact we sat behind him the whole time and got to see the high five when the Spanish branch was announce for their area. Loretta he's great!
