When do they stop being walking accidents?

Since Liam started walking, I think the longest he has gone without a fat lip is about 10 days. About a week and a half ago we were at Tom's work and Liam crawled under a table. Half way under he decided to stand up and nailed one side of his face. He had a nice red line, but other than that he was fine. We got home and he was playing with something and started running. He slipped and face planted, he had his lip in his mouth when he fell, and was bleeding. Less than an hour after that he was holding onto the coffee table and bent down to pick something up. As he was standing back up he lost his grip on the table aaaand WACK! His bottom lip started bleeding and puffing up so that it could match his top lip.

The scab on his lip finally went away. Today we were playing outside. We were outside for maybe five minutes. Liam grabbed a handful of my flowers and I said his name to let him know he was in trouble. He started running away from me and WACK! He fell and caught himself with his face. I went and picked him up and we went inside. I wiped up the blood and got him a popsicle, something I always have on hand for occasions like this one. We went back outside to eat the popsicle. After a few minutes Liam was playing in the dirt and coming back to get bites every now and then, but he wanted to hold the popsicle himself to get bites, but that meant muddy popsicle. So I was using the hose to spray the dirt/blood off of his popsicle, and making a nice muddy puddle off the edge of the porch. Liam loves the water and it wasn't too long before he had both hands stretching to reach the water and before I could catch him, he was face down in the mud. When I picked him up he was covered. His whole face was black. He had mud in his eyes, nose and mouth. So I did the first thing that came to me. I sprayed him off with the hose, (don't worry it was on gentle stream) and then brought him inside for a bath. So now my little boy has another fat lip. What's crazy is that it doesn't slow him down. I'm just really sick of getting blood out of my shirt sleeves.

Yeah, they sure are good at falling. Ginny is really into climbing (something Jacob didn't really do) and I am often at me whits end. Sure she can get up alright, but if she doesn't fall getting down, she just sits there and screams till I come resuce her from herself... is there a spritual lesson in there some where?

I knew he was accident prone...but wow--put that kid in a padded room! His haircut makes him look so different! Still very cute, but older or something.
