It takes 5 days, lots of fuel, lots of patience, and good friends to get across the country. Harry Potter on tape helps too!
Thank you Kumar and Stacy for getting us out the door. They took care of the odds and ends (which is by far the worst part of moving). They cleaned out our fridge and cleaned our bathroom... we could not have found better friends anywhere.
We only stayed in a hotel two nights. Lauren and Jon let us crash at their place in Houston and eat their food. And my Aunt Connie let us stay with them in Denver...they fed us as well and then packed us food to go. THANK YOU!
Liam was amazing. We'd stop every 3 or 4 hours to get him out. He never cried when we put him back in his car seat. I did spend a lot of time hopping back and forth from the front to back seat; but I think that made the time go by more quickly and I got some exercise...it is not easy climbing back and forth in a small car.
America really is beautiful. We had a great time.
I tried to take pictures as we drove, they don't turn out so well when you are going 70+ mph
It takes some talent to get pictures of the back seat when you are driving. I don't know how Tom did this.
Like I said, Liam was amazing...he was so good the whole way to Utah.

I'm so glad you guys made i back safely. I'm sure you know I've heard all about it, but we need to get together! Let's go to lunch for our birthdays. Just call me when you have a free minute and we will go.
I somewhat feel your pain of moving. We had it much easier then you though. Glad you made it home safe and sound and that Liam was good for you. I'm sad we weren't able to meet up in Oklahoma. I guess I just have to see Liam over Christmas.
Oh, I am so glad you arived safely! We miss you!
Yay! You're back! Can't wait to see Liam. He is so cute, I just can't get over it. Well, I suppose I can't wait to see you guys either... Isn't that how it is once you have kids? Noone cares about you anymore, just the baby. :) Glad all's going well!
Yay you made it. I'm a tad bit jealous. I know I'll make it back to Utah land one day. Congrats on your big move.
